Your client, Mr. Rajesh Kumar, is a respected businessman. A local newspaper published an article claiming he was involved in tax evasion and money laundering, based on anonymous sources. His reputation has been severely damaged, and he has lost business contracts worth crores.

The Custody Battle
Your Role: You represent Mrs. Shah. Argue that custody should be granted in the best interests of the child, highlighting the mother-child bond and adequate care arrangements.

Your client, Mrs. Priya Shah, is seeking custody of her 8-year-old daughter after divorce. Her ex-husband claims she is an unfit mother due to her job requiring frequent travel. Mrs. Shah argues that she has always been the primary caregiver and has made arrangements for childcare.

The Contract Breach
Your Role: You represent ABC Construction. Argue for specific performance or claim damages for wrongful termination, lost profits, and expenditure already incurred.

Your client, ABC Construction Ltd., entered into a contract with XYZ Developers to build an apartment complex for Rs. 10 crores, to be completed in 18 months. After 12 months and 60% completion, XYZ terminated the contract without valid reason and hired another contractor.

The Intellectual Property Theft
Your Role: You represent InnoTech. File for injunction against the competitor, prove trade secret misappropriation, and claim damages for IP theft and breach of confidentiality.

Your client, InnoTech Solutions, developed a unique software algorithm for e-commerce. A former employee joined a competitor and allegedly shared the proprietary code. The competitor launched a suspiciously similar product within 3 months.

The Medical Negligence
Your Role: You represent Mr. Desai in a medical negligence suit. Prove that the hospital failed in its duty of care, establish causation between negligence and injury, and claim compensation.

Your client, Mr. Anil Desai, underwent a routine appendix surgery at City Hospital. Due to a surgical error, he suffered complications requiring three more surgeries and permanent disability. Hospital claims they followed standard procedures.

The Environmental Violation
Your Role: You are a lawyer filing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL). Prove environmental violations, seek closure of the factory until compliance, and demand compensation for affected parties.

A chemical factory owned by ChemPro Industries has been discharging untreated waste into a nearby river for the past year. Local farmers report crop damage, and residents complain of health issues. The company claims compliance with all environmental regulations.

The Consumer Rights Case
Your Role: You represent Mrs. Menon before the Consumer Forum. Argue for replacement of the defective vehicle or full refund with compensation under the Consumer Protection Act.

Your client, Mrs. Anita Menon, purchased a luxury car worth Rs. 25 lakhs. Within 6 months, the car developed multiple defects including engine problems and electrical failures. The company refuses to replace the car, offering only repeated repairs.

The Cyber Crime Investigation

Your Role: You represent Mr. Joshi before the Labor Court. Prove wrongful termination, argue for reinstatement or compensation, and claim unpaid dues including notice pay and severance benefits.

Your client, Ms. Sunita Kapoor, is the daughter of late Mr. R.K. Kapoor who died intestate (without a will). Her brother claims the entire ancestral property should go to him as the male heir, citing customary law. The property is worth Rs. 5 crores.
